But with the increased workload and service demands from business and offices, the multifunctional copier became a need. Basically, this kind of copier does multitasking. First, it is a photocopier. Of course, you already knew that. This is the most fundamental function of a copier. Most printers can already be connected to a computer using a cable or even without a cable. This allows a number of computer to make their prints using only a single copier. Third, it is a scanner. Along with the laser printer, it can scan straightly into a hard disk or a device attached to a network. Lastly, it is a fax machine. It is undeniable that a lot of other communicating devices have come out but the fax is still alive.

Being multifunctional can cause a bit of a fuss as to where category it belongs. It could be a copier, a printer, a scanner or a fax machine. Looking into those brochures would just confuse you. You can immediately ask for a multifunctional copier and it will be readily available for you.
